 Quinoa is a grain that has been grown and eaten in South America for thousands of years. It is closely related to the species of beets, spinach and tumbleweeds. The grain was highly respected by the ancient Inca's. They believed it gave their warriors extra strength and stamina in battle. Quinoa could have done exactly that, because it is a complete source of protein. It provides the body with the nine essential amino acids. |

On May 1st 2009 Iovate Health Sciences voluntarily recalled all Hydroxycut products after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) identified a number of serious health factors caused by the use of Hydroxycut products. The FDA had received, as of May 24th 2009, 23 separate complaints associated with this product ranging from jaundice and liver transplant to death. |
